Meet Brett Cotten
Graduated from The Pennsylvania State University biochemistry & molecular biology + tech-based entrepreneurship & innovation programs, Brett is on a path to be a change-driver in the biotech and sustainability industries. Through his entrepreneurial projects, he has honed his skills as an idea-creator, team-builder, and project leader. He is always eager to learn new skills and about what the latest breakthroughs in biotechnology mean for our future.
Brett knows that the future will be increasingly shaped by those with both the eye to recognize and the expertise to take advantage of all the upcoming opportunities that new technology presents. These individuals will have the mindset of an entrepreneur so that they may strike upon opportunities and affect real positive change. This notion has inspired Brett to pursue a path of biotech and entrepreneurship. Through this combination, he will be able to further enhance and employ his creative, strategic, and opportunity-identifying abilities in order to effectively pursue the causes he cares about.
My mission is to drive biotechnology through business via leading the ideation and business development of impactful ventures in synthetic biology and sustainability. I believe biotechnology offers the brightest future for humanity, and those who both understand the science behind concepts, as well as possess the business acumen to drive them to success will be vital in shaping an inspiring, bio-based future.
To encompass this mission and mindset, I have coined the motto of "Navigating Innovation".
